Employment type: Full-time work – Head of tech support and IT specialist

Work assignments:

  • Team leadership and management (setting goals, delegating tasks, monitoring and participating in running projects)
  • Overseeing technical support (via on-site, phone, remote), discovering ways to advance our methods,
  • System administration (a whole range of latest versions of Microsoft Windows from clients to server editions, virtualisation solutions – primarily based on the open-source ones),
  • Administration, configuration, maintenance (network equipment, computers, computer peripherals, telecommunications),
  • Administration, maintenance – business apps (DataLab Pantheon, EBA electronic documentary system, Halcom eBank Corporate, KADRIS, G workplace for education),
  • Maintenance, administration, design official centres websites (Joomla 1.5. – latest, MySQL, phpMyadmin),
  • Maintenance, administration, design Learning Management System (Moodle v1.9 – latest),
  • Administration, management – F-secure policy management control panel (remote controled anti-virus shielding),
  • Asset management (new equipment purchases, secure equipment destruction, documenting and monitoring issuing and requests of equipmnet),
  • Development, administration – on-line study system (expanding possibilities, working with our lecturers on solutions answering their needs)
  • On-line study support (students help, developing and educating our teachers skillsets, striving to advance e-learning trough teachers).
